The Roque Rats at Adams School

A couple weeks back, a few of us were messing around at Adams Elementery on the weekend when we found a high jump mat laying near a playground. We had the great idea to fall from the playground and land on the mat, so we dragged it over and whipped out our phones to take pictures. We started by just jumping off low ledges of the play structure, but we gradually moved to higher parts. We even got up on the small angled roof at the very top and leaped off onto the mat, which safely and effectively cushioned our landing. We then started trying tricks like backflips, frontflips, dives, etc. After a little while, people at the golf course right next to the school started watching us and were entertained by our leaps and flips. As the day went on, we all became very tired, so we dragged the mat back and rode our bikes back to San Roque. Surprisingly, no one was injured and we managed to take some great photos of it all. The day went from somewhat boring to an awesome way to spend the weekend.
